The findings in this report are based on a survey of 250 executives of retail and commercial banks conducted and analyzed in September and October 2021. Survey participants were located in EMEA (44 percent), North America (30 percent) and APAC (26 percent). All participating banks had more than $1bn in assets, and 36 percent had more than $100bn. Bank leaders working in a range of business functions participated, including those in finance, operations, IT, strategy, transformation, and marketing.
